Sony is launching the Soneium blockchain to drive mainstream adoption of Web3. Soneium focuses on scalability and is built on Optimism's superchain. The rollout of Soneium is taking place in a three-phase plan: get developers on board, integrate Sony products and expand them to enterprises. Sony has officially entered the blockchain space with the launch of its own network, Soneium, which was developed in partnership with Singapore-based Startale.
